Now. I've had a pair of these fall apart on a bike which wasn't even in use and the parts were brand new. Initially I thought the problem was bad rubber but I think the boots are under too much strain when he fork are not compressed and that is why they tear.
They are almost impossible to come by new and I don't know of suitable replacement so I'm trying to glue mine together. Might seem crazy but other than changing to the shrouded set up of the YCS1/YCS2/CS3E what choice do you have?
